Bacon Wrapped Smokies

"Time consuming, but worth it! The brown sugar and bacon grease combine beautifully and give such a good taste."

Prep Time:
45 minutes
Cooking time: 45 minutes
Ready in: 1 hr 30 mins

£ 1 in slices bacon, cut into thirds
1 (14 ounce) package beef cocktail sausages
3/4 cup brown sugar or to taste


Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Refrigerate 2/3 of bacon until they are needed. It is easier, the wieners with cold bacon wrap. Wrap each cocktail Wiener fixed with a piece of bacon with a toothpick. Place on a large baking sheet. Sprinkle brown sugar generously over all. Bake for 40 minutes is sparkling in the preheated oven until the sugar. To serve the wieners in a slow cooker and keep it on the low setting.
